Our Practice
The practice is owned by one of our dentists – Dr. Kurjatko. We aim to provide a full range of quality dental care for the family from our Victorian semi-detached premises in Nailsea. Our dental practice has established itself amongst the local community and now provides dental services to thousands of people every year.
We offer the very best dental healthcare, a range of preventative dentistry and hygienist services and use the latest dental technology such as digital x rays, and Cerec all ceramic restorations. We follow the latest recommendations with regards cross-infection control.
We also have a fantastic selection of oral hygiene products for sale at our practice, so make the most of your visit to us and stock up on the essentials to keep a healthy smile.

Dr Krisztina Kurjatko moved to the UK in 2009 after qualifying as a dentist in Bucharest in 2001Krisztina has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry including composite bonding and Invisalign.In her spare time, Krisztina enjoys spending time in nature with her family, gardening in the sunshine and horse riding.

Ester is a qualified dentist from Spain who did her Erasmus in Sheffield back in 2005. She enjoys general dentistry and the variation and challenges it brings. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and enabling them to improve their overall dental health.Ester has two daughters who take up most of her spare time. When she is not exploring the outdoors with the girls, she loves nothing more than to cook and entertain friends.

Dr Margarita Lane, Dentist

Margarita joined the practice in August 2021, originally from Peru she studied Dentistry in Sheffield after having completed a Neuroscience degree in the USA. Following her qualification she did her year of training in Nottingham followed by 3 years of working in oral surgery at various hospitals, before coming back to general practice. She lives in Bristol with her family and pets and enjoys camping, Suring and yoga. She enjoys family practice and providing preventative care.

Dr Karim Champsi

Karim graduated with honours from the School of Dentistry in Madrid, Spain, in 2010 and went on to specialise in oral surgery and dental implants in 2012. With over a decade of experience, he brings a high level of skill and clinical knowledge to our team.While with us, Karim will be assisting patients on their dental implant journey. He is highly trained and confident in placing both bredent UK and Straumann dental implants, successfully completing both straightforward and complex cases. Karim is also skilled in performing surgical extractions, helping to reduce the need for external referrals when such treatment is required.

Hannah McKenzie, Hygienist

Having trained and worked as a dental nurse in Suffolk for 4 years, Hannah came to Bristol to study Dental Hygiene and qualified from Bristol Dental Hospital in 2007. Since her qualification, Hannah has worked in a variety of Dental Practices in and around Bristol. Hannah manages her time between her hobbies such as upholstery & various other crafting, spending time with family & friends. Hannah is with us every other Friday

Wendy Bull, Practice Manager

Wendy joined our practice in June 2014 after almost 20 years’ experience as a dental manager in the Bristol area. She also acts as a consultant to other practices and is delighted to have joined the team at Nailsea. As our complaints officer she will endeavour to address any problems that you may have.

Suzanne Jennings, Dental Nurse

Sue joined the Practice in 1986 and is one of the Practice First Aiders. Sue has a daughter and 2 cats! Her passion is football and is a lifelong Man-United fan but when the football isn’t on she loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys going out for meals and to the cinema. Her favourite place to travel is Marbella and Dubai.

Verbena Felce, Dental Nurse

Verbena Felce qualified as a dental nurse in 1993. She joined the practice in April 2014. When not at work she enjoys time with her husband, two daughters and pet dog. She loves getting away to the coasts of Cornwall and Devon as often as possible to walk and bodyboard. She also enjoys silversmithing and jewellery making in her spare time.

Abi joined us in November 2022 as a Trainee Dental Nurse, having just finished her studies at Sixth form. Abi successfully completed her dental nurse training in March 2024 Abi and Ameed work together Monday to Friday. In her spare time Abi enjoys walking her black Labrador, Brody.
Karen Ford, Receptionist
Karen joined the reception team in 2015 and is a familiar face to our patients as she had been working at the local post office for over 20 years. Karen is an active member of St John Ambulance and will often be spotted helping at local events and football matches. When time allows, Karen enjoys nice long walks and trips to the theatre.
Carolyn Rann, Receptionist
Carolyn joined the team in 2004 as a receptionist and is responsible for the ordering of Oral Hygiene products that patients can purchase in the practice. In her spare time Carolyn enjoys various types of dancing, taking part in musicals and visits to the theatre. She has two young grandchildren who she helps to look after and loves spending time with them when not at work.
Sandra Burnell, Receptionist
Sandra joined the Practice in 2002 as part of the reception team. She trained as a Dental Nurse in the early 1970’s and worked in Clevedon for several years as a nurse. Her nursing experience helps when dealing with patient enquiries while on reception. In her spare time, she enjoys going for walks in the countryside, following the Formula 1 racing and spending time with her family especially her two granddaughters.
